Ephebe lost in his dreams...

Music

You again...

Some portraits fascinate me, and I could look at them for ever...

This boy's eyes tell me something... Something deep, intimate, true and important...

I would love so much to decipher the meaning of this silent poem...

Such eyes are almost a music to listen to...

The happiness of my life

I am thinking about you...

The Lover's Studiolo

Old books with historical bindings, a crucified Christ, some paintings with beautiful homoerotic overtones...

Culture, spirituality, desire, aesthetics...

Who is this sensitive man ?

Sexy selfie...

The Art of Michel Gourlier

This beautiful portrait is not so remote and different from Pierre Joubert's drawings, don't you think ?

But there is something so special with Michel Gourlier's art: a kind of experimental and artistic touch,  a part of abstraction too, as one can see from the background or from the boy's clothes...

Michel Gourlier is mixing various graphic and painting technics and effects...

I would say his art is going beyond the mere illustration of youth novels...

Mon ami

"Mon doux ami rêveur, poète et musicien,
Mon doux amant, mon compagnon de lit,
Mon âme frère, mon chéri de corps à coeur..."

Eraste de Saint-Amant, Poèmes garçonniers, 2010.

Boy with a golden necklace

© Milena Wojhan

You are lost in your thoughts,
And I can't reach you where you are.
I can caress your golden neck, your smooth shoulders
And your arms, and your short hair
But you are somewhere else...

Frescoe

Painting by Alessandro Papari

This mysterious painting evoked a very ancient frescoe, it could be from Pompei or from Herculanum...

It evokes a male lupanar, a bath house for men loving men...

It could be a forgotten episode of Petronius Satiricon...

Perhaps Ascyltus and Encolpus are in this place...

Where is Giton ?

Breathless

Some feelings, some desires, some pleasures, some experiences are like earthquakes...
Some nights are like a journey beyond all known borders.
Especially a night with you...

Night

A boy in the deep of the night, in the maze of the city...
I looked at him... He looked at me...
Magnetism of desire, strength of Eros...
Unforgettable face, half open lips...
I thought his gaze was a question, but it was the answer...

Sand

Fernand Fonssagrives, Nu Sable, 1949

Archaeology of desire...  Beauty in the sandhills... Are we in the desert ? Or close to the seashore ?
I love the mystery and the poetry of this pic...
Will sand cover this body ?

Or is a lover wiping the sand away with his caressing hand ?

Tattooed boy

The Ritual of Kiss ?

Shy boy

Let me imagine the colour of your eyes...
Let me imagine the sound of your voice...

Beauty

This is one of my favorite pics...
A visual poem, a poem without words...
But some feelings do not need words...

I love the way these flowers are caressing this boy's face....
Such a tenderness...

Ball games....

Soccer ? Rugby ? Football ?
So beautiful view...
Mythology of the (short) shorts...

What was the colour of your eyes ?

Some pics found on the web are visual riddles...
I love this mysterious and artistic photograph...
It looks like a vintage, old, forgotten photograph...
Like an archaeological object...
Archaeology of desire,
Of a love story...
I wonder what is the story behind it...
I wonder who was this boy...
I wonder what is the colour of his eyes...

Garçon (a)doré

"Tu avais une timidité de gazelle,
Une grâce de chaton joueur,
La souplesse d'un roseau,
La douceur d'un coucher de soleil,
La pureté d'un ciel sans nuages,
Mon garçon (a)doré"

Eraste de Saint-Amant, Poèmes garçonniers, 2010.

Flowers of Youth

Antinous is back...

Damnatio Memoriae

I wish I could forget you...

The visitor

I know you are visiting me every night
I feel your presence
I hear your breathe
I smell your perfume
I know who you are

Forgotten memories

I remember
the sound of your voice
your smile
our holidays in the South of France
your love for jazz music
our dinners with candles on the table
your breathe when you were sleeping
the warmth of your body
the softness of your skin
the day we met
the day you left

Archaeology of desire

Gustavo Krier; photographer: Christian Phillips

Excavations in the deep of my soul, of my imagination, of my inner being...
You were always there, in the deep, in the dark...
You, my loved one, my chosen one, my friend, my brother, my lover...
